Winding units (main winder-/ lamination winder-/tensilized film
winder):
For unwind of the base film there are two winders (main winder/
lamination winder). Winder performance:
- Winding direction clockwise / anticlockwise
- Brakes ystem for constant and regulated tension e.g. alu foil with
max. 2000 kg roll weight
- Roll system centerless for steel,plastic-, carton tubes with optimal
concentricity
- Cutting unit for Flying- Splice, roll change by full speed to ensure
a constant production process - Automatically edge control system

Resin station:
Coating head (roll application and raster application) for resin. The
construction consist of a mobile unit with a steel roller and a rubber
roller or a raster application.
Layout / Design:
- Heated roller to avoid condensation (approx. 30°C).
- Using presseur for steeples variable coating thicknesses
- Viscosity control system automatically for constant viscosity during
production - Slit between scoop application and roll application
adjustable on both sides
Dryer station:
Function of the dryer station is to remove the resolvent with
circulation air in three zones: - Separate temperature adjustment in
each zone
- Total length of the 3 dryer units are 12 meters
- Temperature in the zone max. 150°C
- Single felt web guidance of the material to avoid dust or insect
during drying process
Lamination station:
After the dryer unit there is a lamination station to stick the film
together
Layout / Design:
- 1 presseur
- 1 lamination roll, electric driven, with heat transfer oil
- Equipment for using release paper
- Exact edge measurement during lamination
- The pressure during lamination is in a range between 1 - 5bar
Cooling zone:
After lamination the material run-through a cooling zone consists of 2
cooling roller to get the material back to room temperature
Infra structure (additional units):
- Coating head control with radiometric measurement
- Optical surface measurement equipment inclusive detection of
failures - Integrated cleaning system of material lane
- Corona surface treatment on both sides (max.13000W)

- One-sided coating of carrier film also possible with release film
feeder - laminating/bonding of 2 foils

There are 2 reversing winders (main and laminating winders) for the
processing of the materials. Both reversing reversers are as
follows:
- Winding direction clockwise / counterclockwise.
- Brake system for constant and controlled traction also for aluminium
foil up to 2000 kg roll weight. - Roller mounting system axleless for
steel, plastic or cardboard sleeves, with optimum concentricity.
- Cutting cutter for flying splice roller changes at full speed to
ensure a continuous process
- Automatic edge control (accuracy of 2mm).
RESIN APPLICATION PLANT:
Commissioned work (roller application and grid application plant) for
resin application.
The design consists of a replaceable trolley with smooth steel and
rubberized steel rollers or a grid application unit.
The order is executed as follows:
- Heatable application roller to prevent condensation (approx.
30°C).
- Driving style with presseur for infinitely variable coating
widths
- Viscosity control system to maintain constant, predefined,
viscosity. - Gap between the scoop and application roller left and
right adjustable.
HEISSLUFTTROCKNER:
The hot air dryer is used to remove the solvent and is designed as a
circulating air guide roller dryer with 3 zones:
- Separate temperature control per dry zone
- The 3 drying units form a total dryer distance of 12m
- Temperature range dryer zone up to max. 150°C
- Guide between dryer and lamination in closed enclosure (insect
protection).
LAMINATING STATION:
After the dryer there is a laminating station for bonding the foils.
The laminating station is designed as follows:
- 1 presseur
- 1 laminating roller, driven, thermo-oil-heated
- Device for loading separating paper into the calender gap for sample
removal
- Edge-precise lamination.
- The laminating pressure is in the range of 1 - 5bar cooling zone:
- After the laminating station, the material passes through a cooling
zone consisting of 2 consecutive cooling rollers to cool the laminated
material to room temperature.
ADDITIONAL UNITS:
- Resin application monitoring with radiometric measuring system
- OcS optical surface inspection system incl. fault marking Fa.
- Integrated material web cleaning
- Surface treatment of laminating films (coating side) by corona
devices (max. 13000W)
