Diesel Power Plant MAN 57.9 MW / 50 Hz – year 2014 This diesel power plant consists of three identical 19.3 MW MAN 18V48/60 TS diesel generating units with auxiliaries. The engines are 500 rpm turbo charged with intercooling and they are installed on base frame forming a wet oil sump for engines. Diesel generators have been operated only approx. 5000 hours since new. Alternators are ABB made synchronous generators which are air-cooled, and they have their own lubrication oil system installed on concrete foundation and connected to the engines with flexible couplings. Engines are cooled with two separate cooling circuits connected to radiator cooling system. The control system is MAN SaCoS One. 11 kV breakers are Siemens SF6 type.
