The filter is designed in modular design consisting of the feeding and
discharge part and also of one central part.
On these modules vacuum trays are mounted, which are divided into
individual filtrate zones, the length of which corresponds to the belt
forward stroke. The individual modules are bolted to each other. It
will be possible to change the filter area later on by addition or
removal of one or several modules.
Each module consists of the frame, the vacuum tray and various devices
for belt transport, feeding, and discharge of the media, cake
discharge and filter belt cleaning.
