DURMA SB 3020 hydraulic guillotine shears built in 2008 in Turkey are
an ideal choice for machining stainless steel, copper, aluminium and
plain steel. Workpieces with a maximum thickness of 20 mm are cut
using extremely precise, hardened cutting knives with manual
adjustment of the gap between the blades. The high-quality monoblock
design, combined with the hydraulic system, additionally ensures the
highest stability and machining performance, even during the most
demanding challenges.
To facilitate the operator’s work, special transport rollers have
been integrated into the work table, on which the workpiece is fed
directly under the cutting line. The machining parameters are
programmed in the intuitive DURMA ENC 100M control panel with clear
LCD display and memory for 50 programs. The DURMA SB 3020 guillotine
shears also features a driven back stop with T-slots and sockets with
double beams, which can be adjusted from 0 to 1000 mm with an accuracy
of 0.1 mm. The entire back stop working area is protected by LEUZE
ELECTRONIC light curtains, which automatically switch off the
machine’s power supply if the laser beam is interrupted.
Distinguished by its high performance, the hydraulic system consists
of REXROTH components, smoothed cylinders, chrome-plated and
precision-ground pistons and MERKEL seals. By using a small number of
pipes and fittings in the hydraulic blocks, the system achieves
maximum durability and ensures maximum service life. In addition, the
hydraulic system is equipped with a 25 μ filter on the suction side
and the return lines. The DURMA guillotine shears weigh 21480 kg.
