GILDEMEISTER GLD 20 5A CNC sliding head lathe was built in 2001 in
Italy by GILDEMEISTER Italiana S.p.A.. The machine is designed for
even the most complex machining of workpieces with complex geometries.
In order to achieve maximum precision, the workspace is equipped with
many reliable components of excellent technical specification. These
include among others two high-speed spindles and a rapid, 7-position
turret. Daily work, on the other hand, is facilitated by the
intelligent FANUC CNC controller, which has an intuitive interface and
many useful functions. The offered GLD 20-5A swiss-type lathe weighs
approximately 2000 kg.
