Compacting head
Two cast stainless steel H-frames connected by spacer bolts. Two
laterally foldable swing arms for easy and quick changing of the
rollers. The swing arms are fixed with two tie rods, which also absorb
the compressive forces of the compacting rollers. One chamber insert
for guiding the product flow and two center pieces for sealing the
rollers.
Pre-compaction unit
The pre-compaction unit is mounted on a supporting column and can be
lifted and swivelled to the side. The charging hopper (with 2 brake
bars) is equipped with a cylindrical/conical precompression screw.
When the pre-compaction unit is lifted off, a limit switch switches
off the compacting rollers and the screw.

Compacting rollers
The rollers for the PHARMAPAKTOR are made of hardened stainless
steel.
Rollers, roller bearings and bearing seals form a complete unit and
are delivered fully assembled. It is therefore not necessary to
dismantle the bearings to change the rolls.
