In Nordson FoamMelt devices, the hot melt adhesive is foamed with
inert gas (nitrogen). The larger volume results in material savings of
up to 50%. During adhesive discharge, a foamed adhesive bead is
created.
In our opinion, the device is ideally suited to achieve significant
savings in material costs for the bonding of cardboard packaging,
folding cartons, etc., where it is irrelevant that the bead
occasionally contains a small, visible bubble when the adhesive is
discharged.
The device can also be used without nitrogen application. A bottle of
nitrogen is needed (not included in the offer).
Condition: little used
The machine could be switched on (see picture), heating and pumps were
running (as of 05/2023). The device is sold as untested and without a
functional guarantee. The English manual and a German-language quick
start guide are included.
The machine can be picked up by appointment. Shipping on a flat pallet
is possible for a refund.
