The Salvagnini S4 + P4 system are flexible lines for the production of
panels from sheet metal packages. The punching, shearing and bending
process is integrated to eliminate material handling. The S4+P4 system
can also be operated as separate work cells. The intrinsic flexibility
of the individual S4 and P4 systems extends to the hole line.
Efficient production:
The production process from raw material to finished panel takes place
on a single processing line. This offers concrete savings in terms of
processing times, ongoing work, space requirements, logistics costs
and personnel. The ability to work as integrated separate
punching/cutting and plate forming cells further increases production
efficiency.
SALVAGNINI P4 bending unit
The bending unit of the P4 Panel Bender is the result of exclusive
Salvagnini technology. As a result, the bending angle from one sheet
to another remains constant and can be shaped from one batch to the
next with the same material and thickness. It also allows bending of
different thicknesses with the same tool.
The rigidity of the bending tools ensures that the curved edge along
the sheet edge remains straight and constant, regardless of the length
and thickness of the plate.
An unlimited number of ups and downs can be made without removing the
panels from the work surface.
SALVAGNINI P4 Manipulator
The manipulator of the P4 Panel Bender automatically processes the
sheet metal and rotates it 90°, 180° or 270° or any other
intermediate angle.
The notches other than the edges of the punched sheet serve as a
reference for positioning. This, of course, contributes to the
excellent precision of the manufactured component, which is
additionally guaranteed by absolutely precise manipulator
movements.
