Tube chassis system 85/86/90 to LCD chassis The following steps are
necessary for the conversion to LCD: 1. Disassemble the monitor
chassis 2. Remove the picture tube and circuit board (ventilate the
tube properly, dispose of) 3. Function keys, alpha keyboard is
retained (if available) 4. New LCD chassis, loosen nuts and lift the
frame 5. Insert chassis from behind, attach front bezel and screw it
in place 6. AMP connector from the CPU unplug, eject contacts 7. Set
the voltage on the potentiometer to 12 volts 8. Press in new pins
after enclosed pin assignment 9. For System 86/90, pinch off the crimp
contacts and insert them into the pin header 10.AMP connector System
85 / Plug in pin header on System 86 11.For System 86/90, tap the
voltage on the switching power supply (snap terminals) 12.Settings of
the LCD monitor are made via three buttons on the board
