AUERBACH AX3 TLF deep hole drilling machine was manufactured by the
renowned German company Erste Maschinen Fabrik (ERMAFA
Sondermaschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH) in 2011. Characterised by its
high reliability and performance, the AUERBACH AX-3 TLF machine used
in the drilling of deep holes with high precision and tolerances in
various types of metal, provides excellent optimisation of all aspects
of the process and a significant reduction in cycle times.
The machining process is fully automatic in 6 axes (X, Z, W, Y, B, A),
making it capable of obtaining holes with a maximum diameter of 32 mm
and a depth of up to 1700 mm. The AUERBACH AX 3 TLF deep hole
machining centre is equipped with, among others, a 1500 x 100 mm
interpolated rotary table and a user-friendly HEIDENHAIN iTNC 530 CNC
control for programming all parameters of the process. The total
weight of the drilling and milling machine is 15000 kg.
