AVIA X-5 1250/630 CNC vertical machining center was built in 2015 in
Poland by Fabryka Obrabiarek Precyzyjnych AVIA S.A. The machine is
used for, among others, precision milling, drilling and threading of
workpieces with complex geometries in 5 axes. All these machining
operations are performed by a high-speed electro-spindle located on a
tilting working head. The tilting head, in turn, offers the
possibility to use shorter tools and select the optimum cutting
angle.
The AVIA X-5 5-axis CNC machining center is offered with an extensive
range of equipment, including a rotary table, measuring probes and a
intelligent HEIDENHAIN CNC controller. The total weight of the machine
is 10000 kg.
