This Baader 142 machine is designed to eviscerating salmon, trout weighing from 1.3 kg to 11 kg (head or without). The fish being processed is loaded into the machine by hand. A strong clip captures the carcass from the tail for further transportation. The fish is then measured using electronic sensors to help determine the location of the cut. The cutting mechanism is controlled by sensors and the computer, it produces a careful, symmetrical cut, which does not affect the insides. The insides are removed by means of a vacuum device.
