The machine was restored in 2020 and has hardly been used since.
The Duplo DC-615 Pro paper cutter is designed for longitudinal and
cross-sectional, 3-sided trimming and creasing of sheets according to
a predefined program. The machine complements the technology chain
particularly well with a digital printing press. It is able to
compensate for image shifts relative to the blade edge. Products
include business cards, greeting cards, CD and DVD cases. The machine
implements the function of recognizing work based on the barcode and
compensating for the displacement of the image relative to the sheet
according to the read registration mark.
The main goal of the machine is to automate the process of producing
finished print products as much as possible, which is especially
important for the operational printing market.
