ERTMASZ TZ-6S automatic jar capping machine built in 2014 in Poland,
is an indispensable component of any filling line. The machine
involved in the technological line is designed for tight capping of
jars using a selected type of caps. This process allows the products
to retain their properties for a long storage period, until they are
opened by the consumer. The main advantage of the ERTmasz capping
machine is that it can be customised to meet the individual needs of
the production line by, among others, altering the working
capacity.
The TZ-6 S jar capping line consists of the following components:
– closing heads (6 pcs.)

– cap feeder Pick & Place type
– screw conveyor-orientator: ERTMASZ XP
– rotary table: ERTMASZ S 0-12

– sturdy steel construction covered with stainless steel sheet
The technological process is extremely simple and fast. A screw
conveyor moves the filled jars into the cut-outs of the separating
star, which allocates the jars to the corresponding locations of the
feeding star. Once the caps have been placed on the jars, the feeding
head performs a rotation and simultaneously feeds the jars further
under the body-mounted capping heads. The main column, making a
rotating motion through the cam mechanism, lowers the screw cap heads
onto the caps pressing them onto the jars. Once the jars have been
properly screwed down, the cam lifts up, whereupon the screwed jars
are picked up by the pick-up star and moved back onto the conveyor.
The ERTmasz TZ-6S Pick & Place 6-head capping machine weighs 700
kg.
