Fully operational WrapAround OPP labeler Krones Contiroll Solomatic
for plastic and paper labels feed from two rotating reels and glued
with hot melt glue. Labeler was manufactured in 2007 and it has two
label applicators, both with two label reels with automatic splicing
from one reel to another. It is suitable for labelling glass, plastic
and metal containers with wrap-around labels. Two narrow strips of
hotmelt, which are applied by a heated glue roller to the leading and
trailing label edges, glue the labels together. Container plates are
driven by a toothed belt and servomotor. This machine has been used
for 500ml PET bottles only but it can be adjusted for 500ml to 2000ml
bottles as well, max diameter being 105mm. Control PLS are Siemens
Simatic S7 series with color touch screens.
