The recirculating air fan sucks in the moist room air via the dust
filter, evaporator and the condenser behind it. At the cold
evaporator, heat is extracted from the room air and cooled down to
below the dew point. The water vapour contained in the room air
precipitates as condensate or frost on the evaporator fins.
In order to avoid moisture damage and cost-intensive work
interruptions, the use of a dehumidifier is recommended.
