The Comitrol® Model 1700 processor offers the highest level of
versatility in the Comitrol range. It has reduction heads of 152.4 mm
(6) in diameter and is available in the three configurations below.
The input product depends on the reduction head style, turbine
selection and spacing within the head. In general, the maximum size of
the incoming product must not exceed:
Cutting head: 63.5 mm (2-1/2)
Microcut head and cutting head: 9.5 mm (3/8)
The sealed enclosure prevents the dispersion of dust, vapours and
liquids when the Comitrol processor is installed in combination with a
collection system. The stainless steel design ensures maximum
durability and hygiene. The machine is equipped with contact parts
with the stainless steel product, and offers continuous operation for
uninterrupted production and simplified design for easy cleaning and
maintenance.
