Flakt #1 - Primary Baghouse:

EAF side (direct) extraction into drop out box.
- Forced draft gas cooler.

- Also services Ladle Furnaces.

- Bag house type: Reverse pulsing.

- 2 fans, each 450kW.

- 175,000 Nm3/hr capacity.



Flakt #2 and Lurgi – Secondary Baghouses:

EAF Canopy evacuation by two (2) dedicated baghouses as follows:

Flakt 2 – 350,000 NM3/hr and Lurgi – 700,000 Nm3/hr.


Lurgi Baghouse:

Toshiba – Variable Speed Drive – TM-Drive EMVE2 –11kV – 1.21MVA, DOM 2016.

Dust from all three baghouses is discharged to bulk bags.
