DUGARD EAGLE 660 VMC CNC machining centre built in 2007 in Taiwan, is
used for precision milling, drilling, threading, boring and reaming of
workpieces with rotary tools. The machine, with its extensive
machining capabilities, is distinguished by its extremely stable base,
which provides rigidity and support for the guideways on which the
X,Y,Z axes are guided. To ensure a high level of safety, specially
designed sliding guards protect the operator from moving parts,
coolant and workpiece fragments.
All the processes, from tool selection to the machining cycle, are
performed fully automatically by the milling centre. The implemented
SIEMENS SINUMERIK 810 D CNC control minimises the operator’s
handling of the machine, while the capacious 24-position magazine
selects the shortest possible access path to the tool. This solution
increases production efficiency while significantly reducing time and
costs. The EAGLE 660 CNC vertical machining centre weighs 5000 kg.
