The ORBIT Plus thin-cutting frame saw uses a new method of up/down movement of the saw frame for slat production. During the downstroke of the saw frame, the cutting process is absolutely straight. At the lower end of the stroke, the saw frame swings out of the cutting process in the direction of the wood feed. As soon as the saw frame has swung out of the cutting process, the upward stroke begins, whereby the saw frame remains swung out to the upper end of the stroke and does not come into contact with the wood.
