Conveyor belt with front hopper
These so-called bunker belts form a unit of bunker and conveyor
belt.
The bunker belt serves as a sorting part store.
It transports a compact amount of sorting parts to the hopper of the
step conveyor and is driven by a three-phase geared motor.
Through the integration of sensor technology, it is also possible to
monitor the fill levels.
A sensor in the hopper of the step conveyor or in the hopper of the
hopper conveyor signals to the hopper belt whether it needs to convey
further sorting parts.
