The renovation process essentially includes:
- Mending the sheets, replacing recesses
- Check rotor bearings, check knife axes and partially repair them.
- Order bearings and wear parts (cardan shafts).
- Repairing tables and attaching new plates to the edge strips, in
some cases new conveyor chains.
- New straps
- Check and repair geared motors.
- New control cabinet
- Partial sandblasting or rust removal and re-priming
